Worth knowing

Dear guests, here you'll find all the IMPORTANT INFORMATION for your KID'S SKI COURSE!
If you still have questions after reading this section, simply contact us!

When do the lessons begin and end?

The lessons start daily at 9.45 am and end at 3 pm in the element3 Kinderland.
It is important that all children going to ski on the slopes, are onsite already at 9.30 am.

Does my child need a ski pass?

All children from 6 years of age who ski on the mountain slopes need a ski pass. Children who participate at a beginners course in the valley, can use the magic carpet and the pull lift from the Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel free of charge.
TIP Purchase the ski pass on the day before at the valley station of the Hahnenkamm cable cars or in the Aquarena in order to avoid any stress in the morning.

What happens at lunch?

Lunch care is included in the rate. Please give the ski instructor the money for the lunch in cash (approx. 10 € per day).

Where do the lessons begin and end?

Start and end of all lessons is in the element3 Kinderland at the Ganslern lift near Hotel Rasmushof

Does the Ski School have a ski rental shop?

Yes, in our Ski Rental shop in Klostergarsse 8 you'll find all the ski equipment also for small children.

If I don't like the course, can I change to a private lesson or to a snowboard course for example?

This is possible of course. Please inform our office staff and you will be registered for another course!

Can I join a course during the week?

In general grouping is done on Sunday and Monday. Upon request however it is also possible to join a course during the week.

How early should I book a private ski instructor?

The earlier, the better!

What age do children have to be to start a ski course?

Children can join a ski course from three years.
For three-year old children we offer a half-day course (Bambini course).
For all other children we have full-day courses.

Why do you not offer half-day group courses?

Experience shows, that the learning success cannot be compared to the success of a full-day course! Half-day courses are not recommended from a pedagogical or logistical point of view.

Is pre-booking required for group courses?

In general we recommend booking the group course in advance via our Online Shop. This saves you time and your place in the Ski School is guaranteed.

Do the course days have to be booked on consecutive days?

The course days should be consecutive, because the other participants continue with the programme and learn something new every day. This could result in having to change the group. The best thing is to speak to your instructor.

Can I pay by credit card?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, EC Card and cash.

Is it possible to join a group course for one day only?

We recommend booking three course days. If you want to extend the ski course, in this way you only pay the difference. Furthermore, the programme for group courses is based on a full week. We recommend at least three to five days for beginners, in order to learn the basics of skiing.

Will I get my money back if the children don't like the course?

In general, money is only refunded upon presentation of a doctor's certificate (illness, injury). There are several offers (taster card, extension days,...) in order to minimise the "risk" for you!
Should there be a problem anyway, we can recalculate or rebook everything in the element3 Ski School!
