For more than three decades, Tom has called the skies his home. Flying tandem since 1991, he has completed around 12,000 flights and is among the most experienced pilots in the region.
His passion has taken him from international cross-country competitions to acro paragliding, speedriding and spectacular hike-and-fly adventures, including flights from Mont Blanc. Those who fly with Tom quickly experience his calm approach, exceptional expertise and genuine enthusiasm for flight.

Where do we take off?

Flights take off from the Hahnenkamm mountain station. Take the Hahnenkamm cable car up. The element3 meeting point is just a short walk away.

Do I need any previous experience?

No. Your pilot takes care of the flying and explains everything you need to know during the pre-flight briefing.

Can I get photos of my flight?

Yes. We use a selfie stick during the flight. Photos and videos are available for an additional fee.

How long does the flight last?

The flight lasts around 12 to 15 minutes, depending on thermal conditions.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, sporty clothing. It is usually a few degrees cooler in the air than in the valley. Ski clothing works well in winter, while in summer you can dress for the weather. Remember to wear sturdy shoes.

What happens in bad weather?

Flights are cancelled if the weather is unsuitable. Safety always comes first. We only fly when conditions are safe.

Are there age or weight limits for tandem paragliding?

Passengers should weigh between 30 and approximately 110 kg. Children can fly from the age of 10 or with a minimum body weight of 30 kg. You only need to be able to run a few steps for take-off.

Is the cable car ticket included?

No. The cable car ticket for the ride up is not included.

The ski season is here and the element3 ski school in Kitzbühel is opening again! Regular lessons begin on 28 November at the Hahnenkamm, Fleckalm and Kitzbühel Horn. Our instructors are ready for private lessons and technique coaching.  Group ski lessons for children begin on 19 December. Book your place now.
